Directions
TRAVELING
WEST ON I-10 (From Jacksonville or South Florida): Take Exit 209a west on Hwy 90
(Mahan Drive) which after it crosses Monroe Street becomes Tennessee Street.
Continue west on Tennessee Street across Monroe Street to the third light
and take a left on South Bronough Street going south.
Go through two lights, the second light being College Avenue, to the next
block and the Kleman Plaza parking entrance is on the left and the First
District Court of Appeal will be on your right between Jefferson and Pensacola
Streets.
TRAVELING
EAST ON I-10(From Pensacola): Take the third Tallahassee exit, which is exit 199
and exit south on Monroe Street. Traveling
south on Monroe Street, approximately three miles, to Tennessee Street, turn
right, go three blocks and turn left onto Bronough Street. Go through two lights, the second light being College Avenue
to the next block and the Kleman Plaza parking entrance is on the left and the
First District Court of Appeal will be on your right between Jefferson and
Pensacola Streets.
TRAVELING
NORTH ON HWY 27: Take U.S. 27 (Apalachee Parkway) until it dead ends at the
Capitol, turn right. Go to the next
traffic light and take a left onto Jefferson Street (which becomes, after a
curve to the left, Pensacola Street). Go
through the third light, which is Bronough and Pensacola Street and the
courthouse will be on your right. Go
down to the next block on the west side of the courthouse, take a right and go
one block to Jefferson Street, take another right and that will dead end to
Kleman Plaza parking garage. The
court will be on the west side of Kleman Plaza bounded by Jefferson Street on
the north, Bronough Street on the east, Pensacola Street on the south and South
Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on the west.
FROM
THE AIRPORT: Upon leaving the Tallahassee Regional Airport, after going through
the toll booth, turn left onto Capital Circle Southwest and take that until it
dead ends into Orange Avenue. Take
a right onto Orange Avenue which is also Hwy 371 which then becomes Hwy 373 and
continue on that approximately 2 or 22 miles to Adams Street.
Take a left on Adams Street and follow it north into town and Adams will
join up with Duval Street. Stay to
the left on Duval Street going up an overpass about five blocks where the
Supreme Court will be on your left and the Capitol on your right.
Take a left just beyond the Supreme Court on Pensacola Street and go two
blocks west where you will see the First District Court of Appeal on the right.
Take a right onto South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Go one block, take a right onto Jefferson Street which will dead end into
Kleman Plaza parking garage and the court will be across the street from Kleman
Plaza to the west.

Parking
There is NO parking at the First
District Court of Appeal for non-employees of the court.
Currently there are employees who have to find on-street parking or use
parking garages. The court does
have one space designated for handicapped parking located on the north side of
the court which may be reached through the entrance off of Jefferson Street
between Bronough Street on the east and South Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard on
the west.
Public parking is available at Kleman Plaza
which is just east of the court and can be accessed from Bronough Street or
Duval Street between College Avenue and Pensacola Street.
This parking garage is just one block north of the Florida Supreme Court.
There is no fee for the first 30 minutes, the charge is $1.00 for 31
minutes - 1 hour and $.50 for each additional hour with a maximum of $5.00 per
day.
There are additional State parking lots
with paid visitor parking one block south of the court on Bronough Street just
beyond the Supreme Court on the left and the Gray Building on the right. Additionally, there is parking available at the
Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center parking lot, which is one block west of the
court on Pensacola Street where the parking fee is $5.00 per day.
